The class on a Thursday evening will take you deeper into your practice by allowing you time to stay within the postures for a longer period of time. The benefits of each posture are greatly enhanced as you learn how to breath more deeply and work with nurturing your systems and glands, aiding to balance your nervous system and helping your mind to be more clear and calm.
Yin Yang Fusion Flow
At the end of a long day, you want to move and groove a little, you want to invigorate but not exhaust yourself. So, do you go to a powerful flow class? Or to a gentle stretch class? Well, you can do both! In Yin/Yang Fusion Flow Yoga we will combine a dynamic practice that will strengthen your body and lift your spirits with a quieting Yin practice to cultivate steadiness of mind and and ease in the deep tissues of the hips, pelvis, and low back. This class balances playfulness and mindfulness, leaving you invigorated, refreshed, and ready for whatever comes next!
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Vinyasa Flow is a challenging and inspiring yoga practice. The main characteristic is that it provides practitioners with challenging sequences of postures that help strength, tone and increase muscle flexibility. You conclude the class with calming and restorative postures that lead you into a deep relaxation. So the total program helps you to feel invigorated, yet relaxed and renewed.
Yin Yoga
Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. Long held postures, done mostly seated or lying on the floor, help students find new depths in their yoga practice, achieve deeper ranges of motion, and increase the flow of energy in the body. Today, so much of our time is spent moving quickly from one thing to the next or juggling multiple tasks and activities. Yin yoga is an opportunity to slow down, breathe deep, and dive in to what we find in our bodies, minds, and hearts.
Energizing Yoga
An invigorating and uplifting practice. A unique flow class with inspiring music, lots of breath, balances and focus. Start your morning off in the perfect way!
Core Conditioning
Our Core conditioning class encourages you to think about how you perform everyday movements. It heightens your body awareness, strengthens your core which in turn improves your overall agility, flexibility and strength.
Feldenkrais
The Feldenkrais Method brings your attention to how you perform an action and helps you release postural and habitual patterns of movement that cause stiffness, discomfort and pain. Through observing your own movement and sensations together with exploring new ways to move, you will discover greater comfort in everyday activities and an improved flexibility of mind and body.
Meditation
Meditation takes us to the source of happiness, which is to be found in our own peace of mind. When we can meditate with a still mind, we will discover an unexpected source of happiness within our own self.
Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is a powerful healing practice that regulates the nervous system by slowing it down, naturally relaxing both the mind and body. It is a simple, gentle yoga practice that reaches a wide range of people in their health and abilities.
Come and explore this gentle style of hatha yoga which promotes balance and harmony physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Restorative Yoga encourages you to linger longer in poses and savour the sweetness of your practice. The practice of restorative yoga will facilitate deep relaxation to restore and renew you on all levels..
