The vision of Ohana Yoga is to provide an inspiring and nurturing yoga practice which is accessible to all levels.  It is appropriate for those new to yoga as well as advanced practitioners.  Ohana Yoga can be experienced via weekly classes in a welcoming environment, by arranging for corporate yoga onsite, or through attending workshops and retreats. 

Ohana Yoga includes a balanced program of postures, breath and relaxation and mindfulness.  The benefits of a regular practise include:

  • Increases strength and body tone 
  • Relieves the mind and body from stress
  • Enhances overall well being

Through a regular practice of yoga, you will find that your body becomes strong and supple, your mind light and joyful, Your heart open and passionate.

 


Gena Kenny has been teaching yoga for more than 10 years, studying yoga for 15 years and continues to be an 'on going student of yoga and life'. . Gena discovered yoga through an injury in her job as a firefighter. Yoga helped her to not only overcome her physical injury but also helped her to gain life skills to make major life changes and move forward on her true path.  This journey of yoga has now led Gena to be on the path of helping others to heal not only physically but also emotionally and spiritually.  

Connecting the spirit of yoga with the essence of nature, Gena hopes to share the treasures of personal development and growth with others through a heart felt yoga practice and connecting people within her community and helping people connect with others.. 

Gena has also authored a book and dvd "The Gift of Yoga".
